    the composition is aluminum-bronze

    depending on the diameter of the coin it could be a French 5, 10, 20, or 50 Centimes

    2nd coin imaged is this one from a different seller...my coin (top one) is stated to be plated...seller may not be certain...under magnification should i be able to tell plate...how do i determine this?

    Weight would probably be a good first step. Any chance you can get some better pictures of both sides?

    when it arrives i'll do my best to image it...i still need to buy a micro-scale too...got 15x mag to see if it looks plate or not

  • The second coin I am fairly sure is solid gold and not plated. The KM-P520 shows as gold with a mintage of only 39.
