NEWP: 1661 Munster Taler

Completely outside my core theme. Very large flan Taler capturing Munster's city view of the time. Saw this floating on ebay and decided to take it, at least having it for some period of time.
From what I have seen these come having generally weaker strikes.



1661 Munster. Free City Broad Taler. Dav-5603.

Obverse: St. Paul, the patron saint of the city, is sitting upon a cloud, city view below.
Reverse: Coat of Arms.

Nice piece Zohar. Munster produced quite a nice spectrum of designs through the 1600s and 1700s.

Thanks - quality is lower on this one yet Munster pieces are not as common especially with such large flan.
