Home Buy, Sell & Trade - Cards & Memorabilia

Cards for sale !! For the hockey collectors.1971 1972 OPC ending tonight Plus other various years.

For the hockey card collectors here is some cards you maybe interested in. A have a few 1951 Parkhurst up to 1988 OPC. I think my open prices are fair and realistic not like some sellers on e-bay.
I will be bumping this every so often because i will have many more auctions to list.
I do have 2 1984 OPC sets to sell on or off e-bay. I was going to try to sell both together. Both Yzerman's rookies are graded from both sets. One is a PSA 9 and the other is a PSA 10. One of the Chelios rookies is also graded a PSA 10. Both sets are pack fresh and should yield many more PSA 9's and PSA 10's if you choose to grade them. One set is missing a couple of common cards but all star cards are there. I also have a few extra rookies to through in as well. If you think you maybe interested LMK. As for price ? Like usual some of the PSA 9's i got graded should be cracked and resubmitted. I'll post some pics of the graded cards when i get a chance.
Anyways here is the link to my e-bay auctions.
Good Luck !
Steve

  • Here are scans of the Graded cards from both sets. I'm thinking 2050.00 for both sets paypal gift includes delivery. So you get 2 1984 OPC sets plus a few extra rookies.
There 2 extra Pat LaFontaine, 2 extra Chris Chelios, 1 extra Doug Gilmore, 1 extra Cam Neely.
LMK if there's any interest on these sets.
    Cheers, Steve

  • If you read auction description shipping for USA is 4.00 dollars. If Canadian bidders buy i don't mind throwing the lower priced cards in bubble envelopes and sending for 3.00-4.00 dollars depending where they live. Obviously you are not familiar with shipping cost in Canada. I live in Ontario. To send a single card in a bubble envelope signature required with no insurance is 9.25. To send a single card to another province other then your own can cost anywhere from 12.00-16.00 dollars. So paypal says i have to protect myself. So if a person in Canada buys one card for 200.00 dollars the only way i can cover myself is sending signature required. If i don't send it signature required then i have no proof. Buyer would get the card and still be able to claim he didn't if i mailed the card in a bubble envelope.
Shipping in the US is so much easier. I love the if it fits it ships at one flat rate. In Canada, shipping is just terrible.
So reason why i put 10.00 dollars in the shipping is because i don't know who's buying the card. If i put 4.00 dollars i'd be out alot of money if all winners are Canadian. If i put 4.00 dollars for shipping and then you win one of my auctions and then i'm asking you to pay the 9.25 for signature required then what are you going to do? Tell me to eat it or just not pay.
I state in my auctions to wait for an invoice from me so i can charge the appropiate shipping. If anything i end up taking a loss like most sellers do.
This is the problem with e-bay and paypal. They expect a seller to put a shipping amount when you haven't got a clue who's buying the card. For US sellers some will only sell in the US. Why? Because of the shipping and paypal crap that is going on. If you limit who you are selling to then your items don't sell for as much. I don't make a dime when shipping. If i do i refund the differance but most cases i take the loss.
If you live in the US would you charge me 4.00 dollars to ship a 200.00 dollar card in Canada? I don't think so. I live in Canada and it costs alot more compared to the US. We do not have DC we only have signature required.
Sorry about the novel here but trust me, it's frustrating shipping in Canada. Weight, size, province, signature Just to many variables. I'm lucky because i live next to Detroit and do my shipping on the weekends. So i don't have to worry about the outrageous prices to ship to the US.
So did i answer your question? LOL
    Cheers, Steve
PS. For me to ship a hockey set in a binder to Quebec cost me 22.00 dollars before insurance. The same size binder shipped to Nova Scotia cost me 56.00 dollars before insurance. I stated shipping to be 20.00 dollars in my auction. All i charged was 20.00 dollars. I added the insurance to cover myself in both cases. Didn't ask the buyer to pay a dime.

That makes sense. I've shipped several times to Canada from the US and it is usally right about $4.

Yes shipping from USA to Canada can be as cheap as $4 for one graded card, but you (the seller) are
rolling the dice as it's not trackable shipping.

What Steve stated above is correct. If you want to mail to Canada and have some proof of delivery,
it gets pretty expensive. Why Canada doesn't have a simple and inexpensive delivery confirmation
service like the USA has, is the question? Maybe the size of the regions involved might be the answer.
Not enough postal workers, too much area to cover/track.

  • 1979 OPC starts Tuesday April 17, 1971 and 1972 OPC will be split up on Wednesday April 18 and Thursday April 19.

Ending today April 17 are misc cards from 1951 Parkhurst to 1988 OPC

Ending this Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 are cards from 1971 to 1976 OPC

    Anyways Good Luck !!
    Cheers,
    Steve

PS. Shipping can be at 3.00 dollars and up before anybody asks. More so for the Canadian buyers. Shipping a couple of cards in a bubble envelope is fine when they are lower dollar items but please don't expect me to send out a couple of cards valued at say 200+ dollars for 3-4 dollars depending where you live. I have to use signature confirmation. This starts at around 10 dollars and goes up from there.

  • I have had 3 offers on the 2 1984 sets. All 3 have been 1800.00. Sorry guys it's going to cost me up to 50 dollars just for shipping depending who buys them.
But if you think i am to high at 2050 then i will come down to 1950.00 paypal gift with delivery.
Remember there are 2 extra Pat LaFontaine, 2 extra Chris Chelios, 1 extra Doug Gilmore, 1 extra Cam Neely. Also the VCP just on the Yzerman and Chelios rookies in PSA 10 are just under 1800.00 so for 150.00 dollars more you are getting 2 sets with another Yzerman already graded a PSA 9 and all of the other cards shown graded PSA 9 and PSA 10.
So first one who requests this gets it !
