eBay Seller questions

Ok, first off, I have tried searching using the search function but to no avail. All i get is an error talking about a threshold.

So, im looking at some stuff on eBay and have ran across a couple of sellers I would like peoples input on:
First: battersbox, what can anyone tell me about their experiences about this seller?
Next: Tripleplayvintage. Again, any personal experience?

Are there any sellers that I should immediately steer clear of?

Any help would be nice.

Thanks!
Arex

I've never purchased a card from Battersbox that wasn't over graded. On the rare occasion I sent their stuff to PSA, none ever ended up matching the grade assigned by PSA

I've purchased directly from battersbox through their monthly mailout. They have a huge inventory. I agree that they overgrade to some extent, but so do a lot of other sellers on eBay. I consider them reliable, because if you aren't satisfied, they will refund. Battersbox is always set up at the National, too. I have bought from tripleplayvintage, and the one or two transactions I've had with them have been fine. I like gregmorriscards. They are reliable and grade as accurately as anyone I've bought from. I used to buy from klinger83, but I've noticed that their feedback isn't like it should be. Hope this helps.

Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

  • Stay away from that Probstein seller, lol... Kidding of course.

Not familiar with those two sellers. The main thing IMO, is to look at their feedback, how new or old it is, how long they have been selling, what is their feedback count, etc.

As long as their selling time on Evay is decent, several months or more, and they have a fair amount of feedback a few hundred or more, it's game on for me with bidding. Obviously looking closely at any negs too. If it's a cheap card, well I don't get very concerned.

What exactly are you searching for?

    Thanks for the info fellas!
Ive bought from GregMorris before and have always felt really good with the cards I have gotten from them.
Im looking for, specifically, 1966 Topps and 1960 Topps (might start a set of those, if not will work on the HoFers) and HoFers in general from the 1960s
