SGC 80=PSA 7!?!?!?! Are you kidding me??

I question him about it....he states that PSA overgrades and SGC undergrades. Well - riddle me this? How come sellers of PSA cards never put SGC in the title, and sellers of SGC always try to put PSA in the title any chance that they can get?? I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count!

    very bothersome they just try to get every grader in the title for some reason.

    I guess I can sorta see it if they at least used the equivalent. But an SGC 80 is the equivalent of a PSA 6, NOT a PSA 7!!

    Does the listing like that affect the VCP information? What I mean is, with the multiple grading companies names in the title, does it affect the software that pulls the sales information?
    Does that make sense?

    Happens in both camps......both PSA and SGC. The sellers are trying to get more buyers i think..........here is the other side of the argument

    We flag sellers like this one so when doing our entry we pay closer attention to them to make sure it is listed correctly in our DB.

    Too bad those cards are pretty much worthless in a psa 10 or bgs 9.5 slab.

    Keyword spamming usually bugs me, but that is so over the top I laughed.

    Don't waste your time reporting the violation to ebay. I have on titles that were worse than that and nothing has ever been done.

    Is it my bad eyes or is this seller's blue font in his description very hard to read?

    I got two responses from the seller, the latter lying about changing the title.

    For what it's worth, PSA pulls down auctions fairly frequently that violate Ebay's Vero prgram ...in their eyes (they control and Ebay does what they want), SGC and BGS do not report similar listings.

    Maybe I should use the title PSA 7.5=SGC 9 in my listings.
