    I couldn't get that video to work but I found it on Youtube. Wow that kid needs kicked off the team.

    I dont know about the worst but it was bad.
    Did he boddy check him or punch him. Couldnt really tell.
    If he punched him Id put it around worst then.

    When on Second Base you are suppose to watch your back. Theirfore, I do not believe it was a cheap shot, but a learning lesson.

    Hopefully the baserunner will remember to watch out in the future.

    I would agree, but usually the left fielder doesnt get a chance waylay him when a fracas breaks out.

    Thanks goodness for video. The left fielder will be suspended for several games- maybe the rest of the year. I think he could face criminal charges as well.

    Jeff ... just went to the school website. Looked at the baseball team roster and that kid (Austin O'Such) is NOT listed.

    Hey guys,

    Looks like someone will be reflecting on his decision for awhile.

    Yavapai College Response

    While I strongly agree with the immediate suspension of the player involved, we have no idea if there is any history between the two players involved. As a hockey player, I've seen many things happen behind the play in response to something that occurred earlier in that game or even an earlier game. In the heat of the moment, we all sometimes make very poor decisions and I have been on both sides of it although baseball is not typically a contact sport like hockey.

    I case you were wondering, the guy looks like he is pretty solid.

    What sort of mistake involves deciding that even though everyone else on the field is in a baseball uniform and it looks like a baseball field, it's time to become a blitzing linebacker and speartackle someone who is standing still facing away from you?

    Meta World Peace's cheap shot on James Harden yesterday rivaled this cheap shot. I hope he gets a nice long suspension.

    Hope Harden can get back on the court soon (concussion). Thunder=most entertaining team in the league. Those boys can throw up points in a hurry.

    That elbow was pretty hard. Like an MMA elbow. Like he didn't know he hit him. He should be fined, and suspended for the rest of the year.

    And the left fielder I imagine will be out for some time.
