PCGS Imaging World (Standard Holder) Coins?

Yesterday, I had grades posted for some nicely toned World Modern (standard holder) coins, and was surprised to see that there were images for them as well.
Until then, I was under the impression that only the Secure Plus holdered coins would have the non-TrueView type images, but here they are:

World Modern Grades

Has anybody else noticed this new development? I had grades posted less than a month ago for a similar submission that did not have these images.
BTW: The coins in hand look much better than these images portray, but it's better than nothing. And they had a pretty fast turnaround time.

Cool! I'll have to check my last submission for photos.

I've had this before. Not on the entire submission, but some coins had been imaged, without asking for it. The coins were not modern, but they were not in a Secure Plus holder either. My guess is that the images were taken for the PCGS world coin facts.

Those look like the low-res sniffer images. I also thought those were only done for the PLUS service. Pretty cool.
