Did anyone get a chance to score MLB All-Star Game tickets today?

I received an email saying that I hadn't been chosen. I must say that I'm pretty disappointed. I've always wanted to go and thought this would be the perfect year to do it since it was 30 minutes from my house. Oh well. At least I can still go to Fanfest.

    Same boat. I have a wedding to go in St. Louis the weekend after. Would have loved to make a week out it. If anyone did win and can't go, I'd buy your code. If I remember you can get 8 tickets so I would gladly pay to lump on with someone if you're not going to buy all 8.

    I did not realize you could get 8. I would gladly pay for a couple sets, maybe more depending on price.

    I went when it was in Anaheim. I had no trouble getting tickets to both the home run derby and the all-star game. I purchased both sometime in June from stubhub or something like that and I paid under $500 for both days total. My seats were horrible for the game, but I had decent seats for the derby. I just wanted to point out that you still have a chance at obtaining tickets.

    Agreed. Don't buy today. People that one have jacked up the prices hoping to pray on people that didn't win. Patience will save you money. Would prefer the hard stock tickets, so I'll probably look other places than Stubhub. The prices the Royals would charge would still be cheaper than stubhub, but I imagine prices will drop in a month or so.

    I may resort to that. It just pisses me off to pay more than face value when the person I purchase from has no interest in the game other than making money off the tickets. image

    One of the accounts I do a lot of business with is good friends with an AL East GM and I get 4-6 tickets to the All-Star game and World Series ever year. I don't think I'm going to make the All-Star game this summer, July is a busy month for me. Shoot me a PM if you're interested and I'll give you first crack at it come June when I get them. We can work out something for either cash or cards at that time.
