Actually the C is tripled and there's a serif on the N, Could it be a 39/38 ???

    I came over here to see if anyone else had posted this variety before. I just picked one up off eBay in VF with a clipped planchet. The clip was listed but not the DDO, I thought I saw doubling in the seller's pics and a little research had me convinced it was a DDO. The variety is definitely known, and from poking around the 'net I believe there is more than one variety. I'd love to know how scarce this particular coin is, if anyone has any more info to add to this thread.

    EDITED TO ADD: I'm guessing this is not a hard variety to find since I just went back on eBay and cherrypicked another one. I also spotted this coin with a similar DDO but with the doubling in the opposite direction, also unattributed (but a little rich for my blood, if anyone here wants at it).
    Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.
