Sold this weeks GDX 46.50 call for 60c. That gives me downside protection to 45.40 and maximum upside of 47.10.

Trading has become rather boring hasn't it?

Indeed. Gotta play for pennies. Just add 'em up at the end of the year. A 2% weekly return more than doubles my money though. Better than a 1yr Treasury and possiblity of a 20% loss in PMs.

Just take what the market gives ya.

Gold volatility pretty low right now... the calm before the storm.

Looking at GVZ. Volatility has a tendency to "bleed" lower or have violent spikes. Gold has to clear that downward sloping 50dma.

Mining stocks very weak. Glad I sold got some protection. Silver on verge of a $3 drop. Gold within $20-30 of breaking 3 yr uptrend. We're soon gonna see whether the bulls are really bulls or heifers.
