I got a few cards signed by Earl Campbell TTM for free and had 2 authenticated one of which was his 1979 Rookie. They both were certified authentic. If you got this from Campbell TTM it is probably legit despite the shortened signature.
I think its probably real, just chalk it up to health issues. Tough to pass it through psa/jsa, I took them one of my Ace Parkers signed a couple months ago and they wouldnt do it, gave me a refund though cuz they just as soon assumed his ttm signature has gone way downhill.
I've gotten Earl's sig in person and TMM for +/- 30 years, every one has Campbell.
However, there was a time when he was in *really*, *really* bad health and on serious pain pills, yet still doing TMMs for free. That could explain the unusual sig but I've never seen a similar example.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
<< <i>I want to say this was in 2007 when I got this TTM. >>
Saw him at the Tri-Star show around that time and he needed to take breaks while signing. It's possible that he may have been on some painkillers but also possible someone else signed for him due to his condition. When I say he was in pain, I mean it hurt just to watch him move around.
On the bright side, he's had a couple surgeries since then; now looks and sounds like a new man.

Is he known for having others sign his cards?
