Good evening, all:
I'll start by saying that I hope I have the correct forum. I see this forum listed as Buy Sell Trade Coins as well as Buy Sell Trade US Coins. I also see a good amount of foreign activity here. So here goes ....
I have a lot of mainly Canadian coins that are too collectible to spend but not at all expensive or valuable … good for a YN in your family. These coins came to me from a gentleman who collected in the mid-1950s … in fact, included in the lot are his two blue Whitman folders for cents (1920-date) and nickel (1922-date) in which the last date of the cent folder is 1956 and the last date of the nickel is 1959. The cents are in very respectable, mid-grade, nicely detailed circulated condition … certainly no culls. Same with the nickels, and those post 1942 are XF-BU.
The coins are:
174 Cents:
1920 – 19
1921 – 4
1927 – 1
1928 – 11
1929 – 4
1930 – 2
1931 – 1
1932 – 20
1933 – 6
1934 – 2
1935 – 3
1936 – 6
1937 – 1
1938 – 5
1939 – 3
86 additional cents representing all dates 1940-1966
37 Nickels:
1922 – 2
1924 – 1
1927 – 2
1945 – 2
1947 – 4
1954 - 2
One each: 1928,1930,1931,1932,1935,1936,1937,1939,1940,1941,1942,1944,1946,1948,1949,1950,1952,
1953,1955,1957,1958,1959,1960,1963
Also included: 25 assorted non-silver foreign coins (including 1910, 1918 Canadian cents and 1899, 1906 British pennies, and a very well worn 1906 10 centimes of Haiti, which looks like silver but I think is not)
Also included: silver in the following amounts according to my research (I am prepared to be corrected!)
1949 Australian florin (50% silver, .1818 oz.)
1906 British shilling (sterling, .1682 oz.)
1887 British shilling (sterling, .1682 oz)
1940 sixpence (50% silver, .0455 oz.)
1940 threepence (50% silver, .0227 oz)
… for about .58 oz total.
I value the silver at 15.00 and the non-silver at 20.00, so I'll ship the lot for $33.00 and I'll pick up the postage. Paypal ok. 7-day return, no questions asked, no problem...
Thanks ....
