My second variety attribution with PCGS - 1830 CBH O-105 R4....Got a question. New TrueView too!

I decided to have this colorful peripheral toned 1827 CBH attributed, as it is an R4.
Also had Phil TrueView her, since it's $10 through March 31.
Can anyone tell me if there is a premium placed on an R4 CBH?
Great job again, Phil!!!

Nice looking bust half BTW.
<< <i>Is that a double strike from the bridge of the nose to chin? If so is that a diagnostic for the O-105?

Thanks for the kind words.
The doubling is not a diagnostic for the O-105

I assume you meant to write 1830, not 1827.
<< <i>That TrueView is certainly worth the $10. Without a doubt, an 1830 R4 CBH is worth a premium. For this marriage, your P53 would be worth around $650. That would be about full retail for a nice PCGS 55 more common marriage.

Stupid me. thanks for being observant.
I'll change the subject immediately.
Thanks for the attribution info.
<< <i>I was under the assumption there is no premium for R-4's? At least I should preface that for bust hald dimes and bust dimes but thought ti went across the board, did something change? >>
There are far more people collecting Capped Bust Half Dollars than the smaller Bust coins, so because of supply and demand, R4s do bring a premium for the Bust Half Dollar series. Sometimes, usually on the earlier dates, R4 can double the value.
Love the look of tht coin!
<< <i>That's a very pretty 1830 bustie, Goldbully! Can anyone identify the Overton Variety of my 1830 CBH? The photography is by BluCC.
O-102 Small 0 R3 Pretty Check out the tiny spike on the breast feathers below the right wing.
And mozin, I'm not seeing that tiny spike on the O-102.
