Been menaing to ask, Is Heritage Auctions HA.com slow to navigate?

Does the HA.com web site seem to be very slow to anybody else or is it time for me
to get DSL and ditch this 56K modem, not really. I got a DSL that is real fast but
every time I look around their site I want to go make a sandwich between page changes.
It's not just when auctions are closing but any ole time. Same for anyone else?

While I mentioned it but what was you first modem speed you had when you first used the WWW?
I think I remember something slower than 56K like maybe 24 ?

Yes, HA is pretty slow. It's compounded by having to turn off heritage inventory, virtual bourse, buy now from owner, etc.

14.4k the first time I used the internet.

I owned 2400, 1200, and 300 bps/baud modems before that, though. But they were for BBSs.

if you are online a bit, find out how much broadband is in your area vs your dsl price

if i had to downgrad from broadband with all the things i do online, i would take my notebook to a local wifi spot over dsl

to stay on topic, i have no problems getting around ha.com including opening their exceptionally large images, they are way faster than coinfacts

to be fair your pc could be slowing down the connection and the dsl could be fast. it is the pc/connection speed combo that determines the outcome

it is best to know how much RAM, HD, Video you have in your pc. although i'm sure network cards come into play on older models
