I may have some time early next week while in downtown Chicago for a business trip. Any recommendations?

Harlan J Berk is fine, esp. if you're downtown. Lots of selection if you're after pricey stuff but they have plenty of affordable pieces as well. Bart's Coins on Pulaski is also a great place to visit, and there are many others as well throughout the Chicago area -- depends on your time and transportation availability. If downtown only, then Harlan J Berk.
