Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

There were lotsa deals to be had on Teletrade. I miss those days.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

there were MANY good deals to be had on Teletrade. The system they used at the time was state of the art....now it is laughable. Not too many people liked haning on the phones and hearing "you have bid $100 on Lot #122. Press "9" to confim your bid". I think that's why deals could be had. I got many of my unopened packs thru Teletrade

I really used to look forward to their aucitns.

You could get a great deal through Teletrade, but you could also end up with a situation where you had no recourse on a grossly misdescribed product. Group lots of cards were often packaged so that you had to break the "no returns if seal is broken" sticker to actually view any but the top and bottom cards.
