Wax Break Results for 89 Fleer and 93 Bowman

Hi to all
So I had a super rough week last week so on Friday I decided to head over to my local card shop in hopes of bringing my spirits up and ripping up some junk wax. I bought some stuff such as 87 Topps wax box along with 88 and 89. Those I'm going to keep intact because I already have the sets and Ive also ripped open those boxes as of recent so I just picked those up more for nostalgic value. I got them for about $5 each so I could resist either. I did however want to rip open some junk wax so I purchase 89 Fleer along with 93 Bowman. The dealer had some boxes out of the 89 Fleer for about $6 already but said he had a case in the back that possibly contained the Billy Ripken "FF" cards for $15 - and I really wanted that card as a kid and Ive never been able to obtain one. He sold me a box for $10 since I already was purchasing everything else including the 93 Bowman box for $40.
Overall I was very happy with the results - I did get everything I was looking for including the "FF" Ripken card from about 6 Variation totals of that kind. Also got the Jeter rookie which looks like a 9 to me. I had one already but its not as nice as the one I pulled. Might sell my original one eventually. Only thing I didn't get that I also wanted was Mariano's 2nd yr card. No complaints here otherwise.

With Bowman, I never really get any duplicates. I ripped open 92 Bowman twice last year and I hardly got any doubles either. As far as the Fleer, this was my 2nd box I ripped open in the past 6 months. I also pulled a Griffey in the 1st box but it was a little (OC) from top to bottom). This one turned out better however.

PM me if you want that dealers number and maybe you guys can work out a deal so that he can mail you some of those boxes from that case if you wish.

Mike, I use to have those stickers ALL OVER my baseball card binders when I was like 11. Yes, those days are long gone.
