Regional Rate shipping

I just recently caught this bone the USPS seems to have thrown us. They've complicated their priority mail offerings with "Regional Rate" boxes. They're based on size and distance, unlike the flat rate which are based on size and the normal rate with are based on weight and distance. The smallest box is 10x7x5 and can hold up to 15 pounds and ship cross-country for less than a medium flat rate box, and to a Zone 3 or closer destination (e.g., Chicago to St. Louis, Atlanta to Nashville, Los Angeles to Las Vegas) for the price of a small flat-rate box. You have to use their (free) boxes and you can only buy postage online at usps.com -- PayPal hasn't integrated this into their shipping tool yet. You also can't use them for registered mail, since you must by postage online, but you can add signature confirmation.

Here is a link to a price calculator for the various boxes.
