International shipping - tracking and other questions

Hey guys, I have a couple of quick questions.

I've got a situation on my hands, I had an international buyer win one of my auctions - but I clearly state in my shipping details that I don't ship outside of the US. I don't understand why ebay allows buyers to bid, if the seller specifies that they don't ship outside of the country.

First off - is there any way to track international packages? I've had horrible luck shipping anything outside of the US (except in Canada).

You can ship internationally. Global Priority is one way eBay accepts and I think there is one more. Both ways are very expensive. Tracking to many countries is non-existent.

I had inquiries on a couple of my auctions, buyers were unwilling to pay for the accepted options, also were unwilling to pay with a money order and "take their chances", so I declined to sell to them.

I think some people can see the auctions even if they aren't supposed to. I refuse to ship internationally unless buyer is willing to pay for the proper shipping or pays with a money order.

Some here have had good luck selling overseas, I won't risk it. You DO NOT have to sell to this buyer if you don't want to.

    Good luck.

Whether you state you will or won't ship in your auction means nothing. You need to lock down the settings in your my eBay to block bidders outside of certain areas so this cant happen.

But just be aware that you are blocking Canadian as well, Ebay doesn't differentiate with International.
