eBay Question

Ok, so I am working on a 1966 Topps baseball set and I recently bought a lot of 25 off of eBay. The lot was advertised as NMMT (i wasnt expecting them to be NMMT) and got them in today. So, im going through the lot and I pull 5 cards to keep (im working in the EXMT-NM area for my set) and the rest are well, no where close. Most of them are in the VG/EX range. lots of corner bends, corner wear, edge wear you can only see in a raking light.
If I message the seller, what do you think is a reasonable request? discount if I buy from them again? Return the cards I didnt want? (as a seller this wouldnt be acceptable to me) Any other suggestions?
This is a seller with almost 20k feedback and they have another 25 count lot in advertised NMMT.
Im not torn up about whats happened and am more along the lines of figuring out what others would do.
Thanks,
Arex

I think maybe it's the seller that needs the learning experience.

without challenging them it wil continue.
Contact seller first. Then if not satisfied open a case and ask for refund.

Buy your raw card from Probstein123, if he advertises it as NM, it's NM or better

Yeah, probably about 95% overgrade. I constantly get trash or so-called NM, but I guess I've been lucky in that I've been able to contact the seller, explain the situation, and to date all have been willing to take them back and refund. Some even said just keep the card(s) and still refunded. If it's multiple cards, I tell them x number of cards are as described and x are not, then give them the option of sending them all back or just the ones that not as described. So far all have opted to send only the ones back that are not as described. Fair enough.

The "little guy" on a limited card budget can't afford to do that....at least from what I've seen.
Did that to me on a $1,000 lot and wouldn't let me return it.... I feel like I should go track the guy down and kick his ass.
He scans a couple cards and says NRMT and then there are like 5 nrmt cards and 600 poor creased junk.
