Second Chance Buyer/NPB question

I sold a card last weekend on ebay for just shy of $75. I sent an invoice and have no payment yet. I personally have no use for this. So, I had several bidders on the card and a Second Chance Offer is an option. If I send out a Second Chance Offer, can the original buyer still pay for the card or does this take him out of the mix? I don't want to potentially have two people pay me for the one item.

    The original buyer can pay for the item at any time unless you file a non-paying bidder case and wait the 4 days to close the case. Once the case is closed, the original buyer will be barred from paying for the item, and you will be free to offer it to other bidders.
