OT - Best Auction House for Selling High End Music Memorabilia???

I'm trying to help someone sell original gear that was used to record a bunch of 70's hard rock albums & on multiple tours. Dude selling is a founding member of a big-time 70s band. I'd guess the value would be around $20-40k but I'm not at all familiar with the world of music memorabilia. I guess I'm looking for the same criteria that I would be if I were selling high-end cards; reputation, integrity, low (or zero) seller fees, etc. My first thought was Heritage, but I'm wondering if there are others that deal in music memorabilia.

I would not sell it in Legendery, or any other auction house that doesn't specialize in those types of auctions. They may have listed it in the past, but if they aren't known for it and market those types of items aggressively they won't have the client base that is actively seeking those items.
I'd look at Profiles in History.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

I can't say a particular auction house jumps off the page at me. I would interview at least a few. If I were in your shoes, I would at least check with Heritage as a starting point.
