Rough night on eBay tonight...

I bid on a few sports card auctions tonight, got outbid on all. Oh well, stuff happens....

A seller named tklein1431 had some good stuff for sale tonight:

1975 BB Rack pack went for $187

1974 BB Rack with Schmidt on top went for $579 !

1977 BB Rack went for $92

1978 BB with Munson on back sold for 61, another with Rose on back went for 76

I also bid on a few coins and tokens tonight and got sniped on all of them. Crazy night...

I bid over 200 for a Derek Jeter autographed card and lost it - that was the icing on the cake...I hung it up after that....

Yea, I was in on a few of those tklein auctions tonight (picked up the Fidrych rack). Actually, $579 was probably a good deal on that 74 rack. If I recall, a Ryan o/t rack sold for $600 recently. The one at auction tonight had Schmidt/Palmer o/t and a 3rd HOFer B. Williams o/b. I wish I had the bankroll to play in those waters.

I might have got in on the Schmidt rack, but there were several splits in the cello between sections. I think the seller was pleased with that price.

I just uncovered one today from a stack of racks I got a while ago from BBCE ... and if I do say so myself it's centered a little nicer than the one sold on eBay ... guess this one is going to be spared execution

The other Hunter rack went for $95 not because of Hunter, but because Cecil Cooper was on front..

Can someone point me to the "sequencing" thread? I would love to know this info for the 70's racks.

I've been dissapointed with new Ebay auctions Sunday night for four straight weeks...
