Tough one. The "wear" at 7 o'clock on the star and in the numerals for the mass might be weakness of strike? The other wear seems pretty tame. The hits bring down the number grade. The large picture probably makes the coin look less pretty than in hand. I could see it going AU 53 or EF 40, so I'm not very helpful am I? Tricky series to grade.

I'd say XF-40 for wear, but the scratches/dings would, I think, bring it down another notch. The wear on the star, palm tree and mountains lower it to an XF to start with.

My Grandmother gave it to me, it was in her dresser drawer for 40 years, housed in an old staple flip. I've had it for 5 years, took it out of the 2x2 and put it in a capsule. I seriously doubt she dipped it and I have'nt. The pic was taken with natrual light, thanks for all the input all.
