Who do I contact at PSA about setting up a group PSA/DNA Red Flip sub?

Who do I contact at PSA about setting up a group PSA/DNA Red Flip sub? I have at least 75 cards I would like to sub and I know there are many board members that would be very interested in a group sub if we can get them for around $10 a card.

John.... Mike Navarro did one about a year ago, you might want to reach out to him. I would be interested in doing the group sub.

The person who used to handle bulk discounts doesn't work at PSA anymore if I remember correctly. I once inquired about a bulk discount by just sending an email to info@psacard.com and got an email back from the person handling them. Or you could probably just call. I have between 30-40 I'm interested in. Maybe see what kind of discount you can get for 200+. I think we can probably come up with that.

Im curious to see what they have to offer. I just sent 10 cards in on this month's special, but have more to add that I could contribute to a group sub.

Depending on the upper limit on card value, I'd be in for ~200

    John,

Bryon Walters will be the one to help you .

You can call him at 800-325-1121 ext. 303 or by email at bwalters@collectors.com.

He does travel quite a bit so I always recommend trying him by email rather than waiting until he is back in the office to get your voicemail.

Just as an FYI, speaking from personal experience, it really is a pain. My hat is off to you if you are willing to take it on. I've done a couple of them on the board. Make sure you charge enough extra to cover the return shipping and insurance and tracking to the board members, but most importantly, the packing and materials to do it properly. The small orders will absolutely eat you up if you don't set a reasonable limit. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to try and help you, just PM them to me. If you are a person that doesn't happen to have a lot of spare time to address questions, don't do it. Board member bigjaco can help set up an electronic submission tool that board members can use to send you their sub information and contact information, it works great and he's a good guy.

If you do decide to do it, depending on when you do, I might send some in with you rather than doing another one myself.

Due to the work you are going to have to do, I would think it's perfectly reasonable for you to charge an extra $1 per card that goes toward you for going through the hassle. It's a small amount, but board members should be willing to do that for your trouble.

I don't mean to sound all "down" on the process, but just want you to understand what you are getting into and to indicate that you need to charge the extra $1 per to be fair to you.

    Good luck my friend!!

    John,

Are you going to the Sun Times show this weekend? If so, PSA will be there and they usually have the full camet of head honchos there... would be a good time to approach them and get an agreement nailed down face-to-face.

Sounds good guys. I am going to try and talk to Joe at the Suntimes show this weekend and see if we can work out a deal. I am also going to ask if we can also split up the sub into two orders so we can get one of the subs graded with a number grade, and one sub without the number grade.

I went by the PSA booth twice while at the show this weekend. Unfortunately they were swamped with people both times I stopped by, and I didn't think it was the best time to work out a group deal since they were so busy. I will send them an email tomorrow to try and workout a deal. I will keep the message board updated once I hear back from them.

I got the thumbs up today from Joe O for the group sub. I will post more details once I get home tonight.
