OT: Please help me fight MS

Friends of CU:
It's that time of the year again! Riding +/- 180 miles from Houston to Austin and bring awareness to Texans suffering from MS. It's a long and miserable two days but with your emotional and finacial support, we can help those less fortunate. As previous supporters know, your involvement doesn't end with a generous donation; I send updates and pictures while on the road, so you can have a real-time experience without breaking a sweat.
If you're interested in seeing last year's pictures, please feel free to browse my photobucket account:

My fundraising goal is $1,000 and please consider submitting a donation to my personal webpage:
http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/barryn
Please note, the site above goes directly to the MS Society.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and I greatly appreciate your time and consideration.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

My father has had MS for a number of years now and likely won't be around for too much longer, so I've personally witnessed the devestating effects of this disease. Once a skilled surgeon, my father has now lost most of his dexterity and critical motor skills and is now confined to a wheelchair. What's most painful for me to watch is him losing significant portions of his memory and cognitive abilities. It breaks my heart to see him this way, so I'll try to do what I can to help. I know we're not alone as others with MS suffer similar difficulties.
I'm honored to be participating, and I hope that someday we find a cure for this dreadful disease.
I'll donate $100 and make a pledge to match up to another $100 of donations from this board.
Deadline is 8 PM Eastern time this Friday, March 16.
Cough it up. Let's help Barry get a third of his target here.
Thanks,
Keith
Donation sent, and thank you for doing the heavy lifting on behalf on everyone involved.
Steve
Donate $100 and I'll kick in $100 in addition to my original 100.
5 or 10 bucks. That's all it takes.
<< <i>Barry, thanks for letting us know about this. I hope my contribution can help in some small way.

Dan ~ Thank you so much for your generous donation and more importantly, sharing your story. I'm sorry to hear about your father's struggles, my thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
To everyone else, thank you so much for your efforts, generosity, and support.

My pleasure, Steve, but as I always say: I'm just riding my bike, it's the supporters that actually make it happen and deserve 100% of the credit.
A friendly reminder that I'll match up to $100 of donations by board members, in addition to my initial $100.
Donate by 8 PM Eastern tonight.
PM me with the amount if you do not wish to make it public.
