How to post a link:

Step One: Select the link you want to copy and right click and copy it

Step Two: Press the HTTP button right under "Message Text", paste your link, then hit OK

Step Three: Type what you want your link to say and then hit OK

Additional picture: Top, what the link will look like when you are posting...
Bottom, what you two in step two looks like

Agreed. I dont even check out a link anymore if its not done properly. If you've been here for a little over a month and are an active user, you should know by now and if not, ask someone.

A word to the wise: do NOT attempt to trick people into logging out when posting a link. It can and probably will result in a perm-bam. Likewise, sending someone to a site that is unrelated to the link descriptor is a bad idea.

Just trying to save any of you newly-joined smartasses some grief. Many good dudes are no longer around - all because they wanted to have a little fun.
