2011 Topps Magic Football - Sold Out on Topps.com

I'm surprised that this product sold out since it didn't get much hype outside of Topps.com. For $19.99 it was a pretty good value considering all cards are rookie and you get one rookie auto.

I read that the boxes were serial numbered, but can't confirm it since I haven't bought one yet. Anyone open a few boxes and what do you think?

  • If it's retail, I doubt it. Way too many WalMarts and Targets out there to do that. It does sound like a good price for a gameused/auto but that would depend on the checklist. For every Cam Newton pulled, there are likely 100 Bilal Powels and 400 Patriot rookies. Also, it's likely the numbers on the boxes aren't serial numbers as we would think of them. I've seen them on other Topps blaster boxes and they are more batch/manufacturing numbers

2011 Magic FB with one auto per box was a Topps.com only product, not store retail. Basically 10 cards plus one auto. I haven't seen this configuration at the retail stores.

  • Opened just 1 box, didn't do much for me. Shame they changed it up from last year.
