There is a rather large collection locally, and values seem to be all over the place. He's got Musial, Namath, Mays, J Robinson, Bobby Hull, Rick Barry, and two others I forget off the top of my head. It looks like most of them are autographed (Not the Robinson), it seems like they can go for quite a bit... A Musial just sold on ebay for over $400, is that a typical price or did a few people get in a bidding frenzy? What would approx value be on them as well?

He has the separate certs for everything.

A little late to the party given you already pulled the trigger on the deal apparently, but I can speak to the football ones.

Walter Payton typically sells with a BIN between $400-$500USD. Auctions are hit or miss... with the lows around $250USD.

Unitas usually sells within $300-$400USD via BIN or auction format.

Namath trails the pack, with active BIN prices of $200-$300USD. In auction they typically sell for about half that.

These are obviously geared towards player collectors, so the player popularity and production run amount will vary accordingly.

No idea what you paid, but I would have been comfortable offering $150USD per on the lot.

These are unique enough items that you can price them on the high end of their historical range, put them in your store, and be confident they will find a buyer eventually.
