BBCE video pack/box breaks at Beckett

I was at the Beckett offices on Wednesday and shot several video pack/box breaks, to be featured on their website over the next several weeks. Here's the first one - 1975 Topps Baseball Mini Wax Packs:

I'm not as energetic as Chris Olds, but I'll be sure to pep it up next time.

3200 miles and 11 appointments around the South and Midwest in a 26' truck over 11 days; yep I'm a little tired and lost an hour last night.

I saw you chuckle when Chris said "now that's the type of job we all want, driving across the USA buying baseball cards".

yeah great job till you gotta load it

    Nice video!

Who chose the line-up for the future Rip's BBCE or Beckett? I voted for the 82 Vending.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Great video Reed ... thanks for sharing.

Chris really didn't think that Carew card, with that t/b centering, was going to grade high, did he? lol

Back in the late 80s, when I was in high school, I used to carry around a cheat sheet in my wallet with the sequencing for certain packs. Of course, I worked for this data after doing "research" by opening boxes. My friend Wayde and I must have set the record for longest visit to a Woolworth's when 1989 Fleer Baseball came in.

<< <i>WTF!!! They used to publish the sequencing for the packs back in the '80s in collectors magazines? Way to help the forgers with their business!!!

I'm gonna say you guys used your sequencing knowledge in picking the packs to rip. I mean you rip 2 packs, and get a Winfield, Brett and Eddie Murray? image

Nice video - fun hearing you talk about cello packs and the unopened benefits. >>

Like Reed said in that video... "The benefits of having our customers pull good cards greatly outweigh the benefits of searching packs to pull the good cards yourself."

Reed..... Thanks for sharing the video. I really enjoyed the 78 rip. BTW I have a Bump Wills on the back of one of my cello packs, so if the sequence is correct 5 cards up is a Eddie Murray?
