Wandered into a card shop

for the first time in years .... Bought a box of 2012 Topps Tribute to see what was new. Best card was a redemption card and the code is invalid. I hope it is just new enough that it is not loaded on line yet. You would think if they can print, package, and distribute the cards it would be on line though. (I hate redemption cards).

Picked these up though:

  • Who's the redemption for? Have you checked EBay?

    What about Auto's, Jersey's, serial #D?

Was to be a Hank Aaron Gold auto ... I'll deal with Topps CS later .. The other "misses" were not much to mention although the Bob Lemon card looks nice

  • Gold Auto #D to 25 or 50? Bet that's a $100-$150 card.

Could be worse. I've opened a lot of Tribute over the years, and it's hit or miss.

  • Topps will usually take a good week to ten days from the time the product is released to the time the redemptions are updated to be plugged in online.
