Stain or Eraser Mark? Brett RC

What the heck is that?

Around the R in Royals -- poor printing (no gloss)? Stain? Eraser mark? Doesn't go through to the back...

I think it's a printing issue. I have a Brett with something similar.

Damn! L/R centering is great on that Brett.

the issue you are speaking of i think is classified as "PD"

I think it's a printing issue too. Notice the fading continues into the blue. I think the black lines would really be diminished more if an eraser was used. You would also easily see tell-tell signs of pencil. Back in the 80's there was a product being sold that would remove gum stains from the backs, it would leave smeared ink in the process. I think it would be very evident if this product was used on the color front of the card. PSA would prolly take a full grade off if you graded, but it still is a nice card.

Thanks all. Of the hierarchy of problems, a printing error is best of them I guess.
