1981 Topps Supercello FB with melting in corner

I have two of the 1981 FB Supercello Packs.
Both of the packs have a "melted" seal on the back at one corner. Both of them look very similar in location.

Have you seen something like this?

There are others on here who know way more about this than I do.....with that said, I will give you my 2 cents.


1981 Topps football contains the Montana rookie, my uneducated guess is that someone opened the packs looking for Joe and resealed them using heat, but over did the heat.

I've never seen a pack with that kind of damage and I would think the only way that would occur is if someone was using heat on the back.

I hope you didn't pay a ton for them because I think they are resealed.

I don't have a bunch invested in them. But they are my first "supercello" packs, and I wanted to make sure there wasn't something different with them.
