What's the best bargain you got on a card?

Mine would be when I was buying off of eBay last year I bought a 00-01 SPx Redemption card of Pete Mickael rc. for $4.50. I got it and sent it to Upper Deck to be redeemed. A few months later they said that they were having trouble getting the SPx cards of him signed. Then a few months after that I got a letter from Upper Deck saying they were unable to get Pete to sign. It also said they had enclosed a replacement card from the 00-01 SPx series. I thought it was gonna be a crap card since the Mickeal was only worth like $12 but inside I found a 00-01 SPx Courtney Alexander SPx rc. That was easily the best deal I ever got.

heh.. too many to name. One that comes to mind is a Bonds Genuine Coverage GU'ed pants card BV: $60 for $6 (10% of book)

Doesn't when I want the card (you see that I paid $25 for a Joey Galloway ). But those NBA logo cards were a steal.
