FS: 1988 Topps Football Factory Sealed Cello case*** SOLD OUT!!

I cracked a case that I bought last week and here is the thread I started THREAD

Anyways, I bought the other cases of 88 topps football cello. I should have them on friday, I hope.
16 boxes,29 cards per pack,24 packs

The case that I broke this past week, I opened 15 out of the 16 boxes. I have 1 full box worth with stars showing..

Rice,Montana,Bo Jackson, Steve Young,Marino, Elway etc.

Out of it I got 22 Bo jackson rookies and 2 showing on top of packs.
I also got 28 Chris Doleman and 2 showing on top of packs.
Both these cards are selling $60 range in PSA 10

Doleman is hot now because he just got elected into HOF

Many other star cards and rookies in this set!

There are more cards in this case than in wax cases! Over 11000 cards

I finally got around to opening the case I got and was very disappointed.

I guess I should have inquired more about the case.

I thought I was getting a original sealed case. What I got was a resealed x-out case.

The x-outs are boxes that were returned from stores and dealers for credit.

naturally they were subject to being searched while on display at stores as well as the
original box sequencing being shuffled.

Of coarse there were no Bo Jackson showing on any of the packs in the entire case I got.
Plenty of Sean jones and David Fulcher packs though.

Had I known the boxes inside were X-Outs I would not have bought them.

With that being said Im still optimistic that I will pull plenty of gem Mint cards.
Even if they are commons and Semi's I still need them for my set.

Lodibrewfans post asking if he "could return them once the sale is Final" should have been a clue.

I assume that he noticed the case in the pic having been stamped " Final Sale not to be returned" meaning they were X-outs? Not original sealed case

I'll bust the 16 boxes and maybe find some buried treasure instead of finding it on top.

I bought and ripped one. No Bo's showing, but tons of em in the packs. Bunch of dolemans too. Overall, pretty happy with the break as the cards were very nice. I have a bunch in right now and will post when they pop
