It's a NGC 3 with a green border obverse with a silver embossed reverse. Not in Conder's list nor have I ever seen one. I'd appreciate any input on this one! EDIT: It's Gold, just a bad pick! Thanks guys!

I have never seen a Silver embossed reverse before, just to clarify. All NGC 2 and 3's I've seen were Gold embossed reverses.

Looks like the color saturation has been reduced for the reverse image.

I have to agree with Tom, something with the color on the reverse pic does not look right.

Yup, the reverse is black and white. I saw the same coin a couple days ago and had to do a double take. image

back in 1992, I had such a NGC slabbed coin with the silvery embossing on the reverse side.

Keep in mind the original embossing was WHITE.

the commemorative coin I had was so undergraded I re-sold it for a huge profit.

before I sent it out, I recall noticing the silver embossing was actually a chrome metallic paint carefully applied over the gold foil embossing.

At the time I figured it was just some person playing around with the embossing, having fun.

Now, I wonder if it was done to see if a silver reverse would look good on an NGC slab. After all, they DID go to a silver colored wide
    Sticker.

    I will verify tomorrow.

The only coins that I've seen with the silver embossing were the first generation black NGC slabs.
