Ripped my box of 81 Topps. There are some gradeable cards but nothing to get excited about. Pulled a couple Rose, Baines, Yaz(one real nice), decent Raines but little oc, Fernando was oc and dinged on the edge, couple ok Hendersons and a really nice Ryan but has some pinkish spots on the background in the pic. No Gibson, but still, quite a few stars. Nothing too scan worthy. Brought back memories of ripping packs as a kid. Thanks again for putting this rip together and good luck to everyone!
Got my stuff today but I'm not ripping any of it. Also any 76/77 basketball packs with a Brian Winters on the back would love to be added to my collection. Also any cello's with Brewers on the top would also be great. Good luck everybody!
Got my package today ...83 fleer cello and 81 tops wax ... Ripping 83 fleer as I write this:
1st 4 -- J. Palmer on top of one, Ripken jr on bottom of another 2nd 4 -- nothing 3rd 4 -- Murray on bottom 4th 4 -- Gossage on top 5th 4 -- nothing 6th 4 -- nothing

I have 2 76/77 Basketball and 2 79 football cellos that I will open unless of course Mr Winters is on the back.
No Brian winters cards in the 76 basketball but did get one Celtic: John Havlicek.
Also George Gervin, Sam Lacey, Bob lanier, Junior Bridgeman, Ron Behagen, Jamaal Wilkes, Gail Goodrich, Tom Van Arsdale (gum) Rich Jones (gum), Steve Mix (wax) and Ron Boone (wax).
New to the board, but very interested in the pack/box rips. I am a long time customer of BBCE, so I know of the quality products sold by Steve.
How often do you guys do breaks? Might we consider doing a pack break of 80-81 Topps Basketball, 1980 Topps baseball cello, 1978 Topps baseball cello, 1984 and 1986 Topps Football Cellos- assuming Steve Hart has these boxes to purchase, of course.
DTY... these guys are nuts and they do group rips constantly. It used to be that it was only every few or couple of months, but seems like if I miss one, there's another one just around the corner. We have done all the 80 Topps cellos...actually got in on the baseball/football mixed cellos which were really cool and we've done the 80-81 Topps basketball before...best rip for me as I pulled a Bird/Magic/Erving card! Not sure if I've seen cellos of the others here, but if they are available, suggest it and I'm sure there will be plenty of people to join in!

I got a box of 81 Topps which will remained sealed. I checked the packs on the 83 fleer cello box but no major stars on top. Did have a Murray on bottom of one pack.
I got (2) 79 FB cellos........Bobby, I know you like the first one.
Got one pack of 77 topps BB which will remained sealed. I couldn't tell who was on back.
Finally I bought my first two packs of 76/77 Bskt. Was very happy with these. The first pack has Kareem on the back and the 2nd one has Rick Barry. Not to bad.....two packs, two HOF's. These will remained sealed as well.
Just got back from Italy and had a nice little stash of items waiting for me. I opened up the 83F Cello box, and had this pretty little pack staring at me
Nothing else of note on top really - a few minor stars but I ripped all of them. Also found a nice looking Boggs and a GREAT looking Sandberg RC in packs.
Still have yet to rip open the 2 77 wax packs.

<< <i>Mike, congrats on the Gwynn. I was hoping to hit one of the big three, either Boggs, Gwynn or Sandberg but was happy with my results.
Let's see some more packs or rips!!! >>
Thanks Mike....I was really happy to see the Gwynn sitting right on top! Was hoping to hit a nice Boggs, but the only one in the box was OC. The Sandberg though I can not wait to get graded,I think it's got a real shot at a 10.
I would love to see what some of the other folks got

The joys of unopened product
The 1981 Baseball Box looks great out of the case! Definetly not going to open that.

<< <i>These group rips need to be seperated into 2 different threads, one for those that actually "rip" and one for those that buy and keep sealed. >>
But Tommy, I did "rip". I ripped the box open to see my un-opened product.

This is as close to ripping as I get.
Here are my biggest hits as far as cards on top and I'm a Mets fan so Mookie counts!!!
I liked the fact that I got the Sutter card shown on the box.
And I'd like to apologize to all the Reds fans on the board as it is not my fault I keep getting these packs.
