Post Office Question

I was wondering, how often has anyone ever had something shipped to him Priority mail with insurance and delivery confirmation which had tracking info, but yet no info showed up when going online to check on it. Should I be concerned? PO said does not mean item did not ship, just that it was not scanned in when driopped off. Anyone had this experience before? Thanks.

Hi I saw something in your sig about NC. If you happen to live in that state and your package goes through Greensboro its likely to no get scanned and possibly held up a few days. I have had it take forever to send stuff to NC and I live in VA a few miles from the state line. It took almost two weeks for a package to get from here to Raliegh once which is around 3-4 hours away. I have stuff never update until its delivered a great deal as well.
  • In most cases...not to worry. This is how our government works.
  • All I know is that Post Office service, and delivery times, have degraded significantly over the last couple of years.
