Adding regrades to inventory

I have a few coins I sent in for regrade and put in SP holders. Now they all have new cert numbers. All the old certs still show in my inventory and sets and the new certs are ready to be added. My question is if I tell to add the new will it delete the old? Do I need to delete those coins before I add the others? I expected they would still have the same cert numbers but they don't.
I never met a coin that wouldn't fit in my collection.....

    If the coin was sent in the PCGS holder for regrade the old certification number will be deleted at some point. Maybe taking 2-3 weeks for the records to be adjusted. The new numbers are not a problem. PCGS has recorded all certifications of coins submitted for regrades and will delete them from their population reports so the old numbers can be used again in the future. Customer service can answer those questions you might still have concerning any of this. MWH
