BVG Grading Scale

Hello,
Was wondering how come when Beckett vintage (BVG) grades cards, Ive noticed that some of them don't have the grades broken down on the backs but others do?
I would think that maybe its something that they didn't do but now they do with their newer submissions but I just got one graded and returned and it had nothing on the back.
Any reason why they sometimes do this? Hmm...
Thanks in advance
Marc

would be more lenient and take into consideration the technology behind the cards during those specific decades.....completely stupid.
Given that criteria, collectors felt that all subgrades were really one higher than it should be.
I guess after awhile, Beckett didn't even believe in them themselves.
There was an announcement when they stopped the subgrades on BVG and it was some lame excuse.
It was on the Beckett website and this was when I actually got stuff graded by them.
Very much appreciated.
