Old auction sales records. Stacks 1982

I have a coin which came in one of those paper flips with Stacks Auction April 1982 and the lot number on it. I was wondering if there was a way I could look up the old sales price and possibly whos auction it was.

Not directly...but there are several people on here who likely have the catalog and can look it up for you. 1982 you'd have to be really lucky for me to have it but Preturb or Firstmint likely do, if not others.

Someone here probably has that catalog with a prices realized. I used to have it but lost most of early 80's catalogs due to water damage.
Those 1982 catalogs have some extra research value since summer of 1982 was a brutal bottom to the bull run of 1962-1980.

The coins would have come in sealed poly 2x2's with the paper insert stapled to it or placed in the rear of the poly flip. If you just have the paper insert
it doesn't guarantee you have that same coin.

Nope wish that were the coin though. Proof seated is a bit out of my price range.

I was gonna add pictures of my coin but some reason photobucket is not working with me.
I have a 1867 Swiss Kanton Schwyz 5 Franc Shooting Thaler.

Unfortunately, there was no Stack's auction in April of 1982.

Pre-Turb checked the only Stack's/Coin Galleries sale that was held that month and year.
