The black refractors of various issues have always been my favorite.
  • Oh how I love seeing the modern stuff!!!

Like Facebook is upon us, so are modern cards. I've seen a bit of a turn in some members here starting to spread out and get more into modern. I love vintage don't get me wrong, but it's fun and cool grading modern players especially since we all watch them on TV.

By the way the Jordan is sick!!! Should go for a pretty penny! POP 1?

  • I lean more modern than vintage. Great cards. Totally sick in my opinion. Well done here. God Bless You! Meatloaf

I purchased all of these cards raw off of eBay. If you buy football, take a chance on rookie Quarterbacks, they are usually the football players that will become very popular to collect long term. Every year I try to purchase all the rare rookie QB cards - sometimes they are a bust (Chad Pennington, Akili Smith, Tim Couch, etc) and sometimes they pay off big time (Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Big Ben, Sam Bradford, etc).

And don't be afraid to pay a little more for a really good card !
