Here's the last project update for 2014 --- this quest has been super slow --- 2014 started off very nice but nothing until December. So to quench the itch I decided to go after some signatures of players that passed away before I started this.

23 out of Gary's 324 HRs were represented by guys that have passed and this summer I was able to pick up 10 items. I am not sure on how to combine them with my custom the sizes are inline with my custom size --- any ideas????

I still need the following 13

    Victor Cruz
    Nino Espinosa x 3
    Ramon Hernandez
    Rick Mahler
    Lynn McGlothen x 4
    Rod Scurry
    Eddie Solomon x 2

Was wondering where your status was on this~very cool! Perhaps you can get Ryan and Carlton at a signing?

Does Ryan and Seaver not do very many signings as I would have thought you would have knocked those out by now? Of course, their signatures probably aren't cheap either.

Figuring either the expense of getting Carlton to sign all 11 or that he may limit the number of items he signs at one time. At least you are down to two now for him. Figuring you'll knock those ones out as soon as you catch wind of another signing.

Happy New Year Mike and best of luck continuing the project!!

This is the first time I have seen this thread. This is a great idea! I like how you have the cards from the year of the HR. Nicely done!

It would drive me nuts to do all the hard work you've done only to have John Candelaria keep signing in the wrong place.

    Hiya Mike

Great to see this thread again!

I went thru and reacquainted myself.

My favorite? The notes sent by the pitchers to you.

Can't believe how close you actually are now. Best of luck - one of the better threads here.
