It is possible to watch an auction without viewing it. Just click the "Watch" button on the main listing page. That doesn't require viewing that auction. That's probably what happened.

I think there's a glitch in the "views". One of my items that just ended only had 1 view over 5 days, but it had 20 views the first time I listed it. I really doubt it only had 1 view.
