Cool pieces. I just got my first Byzantine piece this weekend. Also a Maurice Tiberius AE follis (28mm) with a semi-sand patina like your second one. Makes for a nice contrast and look.

What regnal year, if you can tell?
The follis shown is about 30mm. The half follis is about 23mm.
