Buying complete sets at auction advice

So in buying some complete sets on the bay, they were advertised as NM and NM-MT. The NM set had good corners, but at least 50% of the cards are diamond cut (miscut). The Nm-Mt set is more ExMt to Nm with every card having a dinged corner if not more.

These are not high dollar sets, early to mid 80s sets, but they are not as advertised. Should I just deal with the fact that everyone over grades their raw cards and move on or go back to the seller?

    Go back to seller.

If you believe they are not as advertised, return to seller, buying sets has got to be the biggest gamble out there unless you can see them in person or LOTS of good scans.
