That's pretty cool, I didn't know that there was an inverted S MM for Mercury dimes. Makes me wonder what other denominations and years there are from the WW2 era with that attribute. I have seen some 1944 and 1945 Washington quarters with an inverted S MM.

fcloud - SHOW OFF!!! And that isn't even your nicest one. Geez.

Realone - There is a Trumpet Tail Variety for the 43-S and also an RPM in the Reg Set(I have both)...and then there are two additional RPMs that are not loved and blessed by PCGS. Sure would like to see what you are talking about.

Realone, those are some good looking Mercs! Can you do a close up of the 43-S Mintmark?

    Realone,

Looks like the 45 is a Micro s.

Greg, That coin I post in this thread now belongs to another collector.

You should post your 63. Or is it traveling across the country right now? Will it have it's photo taken while on vacation in California?

    Jon,

    Yes. That is your coin.

    Greg,

I didn't pay for photos on the coins at PCGS right now. Sometimes they take them for CoinFacts, so I won;t know if they did images until the varieties are processed. I sent them two of them; one circ along with my 63.

Sure would be nice if they photograph the 63 for you. When you get it back, feel free to just ship it offto my house for safe keeping. image

Here is the first attributed coin I know of. I had this one done two or three years ago.
