Kevin Durant Buying Spree...UPDATE 3/19...New cards, new scans

Been on this Kevin Durant kick here lately and I've been buying a lot of his rookies and auto rookies. If I can find one that isn't a ridiculous BIN I'll break down and buy the big boy UD Exquisite patch auto sometime soon. Here are some of the ones I've bought within the last week. I've got a couple more on the way as well.

    He's just tremendous. Great choice to buy. Not only are those worth cashola now, but when his career is over he'll be HOF bound.

    I have never collected basketball cards but, if i was going to start with any modern player it would be with him. Great player and a class act from what I have read.

    I'm not big on basketball myself, but I have been cherry picking singles of his and sending them in for grading. I think he'll be a safe hof bet as well. Good choice!

    lol, let go of some of that money man. Did you find my 54 degree wedge today by the way?

    I'm not big on modern stuff, but the UD Premier quad patch auto is one of the coolest/best looking cards I've ever owned.

    Just started watching basketball again this year after a pretty big gap, and he is the stand out for sure so far. There are a lot of exciting players I hadn't seen play before, but Durant just makes it look so effortless.

    sweeeeeeettttt!!! You don't know how happy I am . That and the 58 were Christmas presents from my wife. Was like $150 each too. Wasn't too happy when I saw it missing.

    Fantastic choice in investment Tommy. Flip those bad boys if they go all the way. They'll be worth 20-30% more in the playoffs.

    Great, great investment!!!!! I bought dozens of his best cards (including 2 of the big one) a few years ago. Silky smooth at UT, they would've won a couple titles with him if he'd stayed!!!!!

    Man, I was so pumped when the Sonics drafted him. Never was a believer in Oden anyway.

    It's bittersweet seeming him (and the Thunder) do so well when they should be still playing in Seattle.

    And the Starbuck's boycott lasted like an hour. Effing Seattle caffeine addicts. image

    Continuing the Durant spree, I've got 20+ more cards on the way as we speak. Most of them are $10 - $40 game used and regular issue rookies, but I sleighed a monster Durant auto Rookie tonight. This one doesn't come around often and I honestly thought it would go much higher. There were 60+ people watching and I was hell bent on winning it (had my snipe set WAY higher than what I gave for it, lol). I have the #'d to 99 version that sells in the $300-$400 range right now. There is also a #d to 199, 49, and 25. Then there is a 1 of 1 somewhere out there. Anyway, I'm pretty excited. Oh, also bought 300 Barry Sanders Pro set rookies from the BST board tonight, lmao. No method to my madness

    A man cannot have to many wedges.

    I have a personal hatred for the 14 club rule. I have that many woods and wedges.

    And NO! I will not walk a course. My bag is way too heavy.

    I even carry a left handed 7 iron just for the odd lie.

    Tommy love the Durant stuff!!! Great future for profit IMO.

    Let me know when you get those Durant's in the mail so we can get these babies some GEM grades!!
