I'd like to bid but dont know how, either does seller

Hi , i hope an ebay expert can help with my bidding on a US coin. It's not on ebay US , it's on a foreign ebay , the aussie one. There's a coin there i'd like to bid on and the seller has agreed to allow my bid.His auction is set for no overseas shipping so wont take my bid , i know theres a way to make an exception to allow me to bid but i dont know how the seller would go about finding that and i need to be able to tell him how to.Yes , the easiest way would be to have him set the auction for US shipping but that also opens it up for all of ebay US to bid against me , id rather do it this way and bid against the aussies.I really would appreciate any help pointing me to how to do this. Thanks

I dont think there is a way to open it to you without opening it for everyone else. Try temporarily changing your address to a an AUS addy. If you can find one to use. Or add an AUS shipping addy to your ebay shipping list.
Or, Navigate to the bottom of the home page and elect Ebay sites, select Australia. That works for me too.
Hope this helps.
