Copper/Flying eagle cents experts

I was just going through some coins from a small cent type set I built last year and noticed something cool on my '57 flying eagle.

I had somehow missed this previously, but the date and UNITED both show some nice doubling.

It looks like the first S and E in STATES also shows some doubling, as well as the eagle's beak.
A few questions....
Is this a DDO, or just machine doubling? I checked the coinfacts page and it doesn't match the only DDO listed there. My CPG doesn't cover cents so I'm turning to the forum experts. Curious to hear what you all think of this one. Thanks!

Edit: I may have been a little excited and quick to post. Looks less like true doubled die around the tops of the letters in UNITED.

I agree with Ankur though - nice images!

Sorry Dan, Shelf doubling. If you wanted a DDO 57 all you had to do is ask. If it looks like a smear with no split in the lettering than it isn't a true Doubled die

Hah, no actually I was taking photos in preparation to move some coins to the BST. I just think it's cool when something like this sneaks under my nose. I've trained myself to be ultra-sensitive to doubling on a *ahem* particular series, and this isn't it!
Ok thanks for looking everyone, shelf doubling it is (according to the peanut gallery, are you guys small cent experts huh?). I expect Rick will say the same. Cool nonetheless.

The tops of the letters in UNITED totally do, but the 8 in the date doesn't at all, to my eyes.
Doubling is nice, but that's one nice FE cent.

I don't think it's Longacre. Looks like machine doubling to me.
When is it going on BST?
